We shed the national spotlight on our great city of Detroit through a variety of outlets, including a professional race team, teen driving program, and public and private events.

CREATING BETTER DRIVERS

Teen Street Skills is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational community program designed by Robbie Buhl. The 3 1/2 hour program puts teens behind the wheel to learn skills used for a lifetime. Participants learn how to maximize car performance to properly react to adverse conditions. Best of all, Teen Street Skills relies 100% on sponsor support from businesses and individuals to underwrite program costs as it is FREE to participants.

A FIRST FOR THE MOTOR CITY

Another aspect of Buhl Sport Detroit is its professional race team Racing4Detroit. There had never been a race team based in Detroit until Tom and Robbie Buhl debuted the team in November, 2015. The team currently races the #4 car in Americas Rallycross ARX2 class. The series, promoted and operated by IMG, features short races and viewer-friendly asphalt and dirt circuits, making for exciting racing suited to the way we enjoy sports today.
