I was extremely impressed with the way everything was run and I will state the obvious that you guys are making a huge difference in the lives of so many teens, including my daughters.

About Our Program

DHF23178.jpg

Teen Street Skills is a new community program, led by Robbie Buhl, educating teen drivers ages 15-19 with a legal driving permit on street safety. More than the typical driver's education program, teens will learn about how to maximize their car's performance in order to properly react to adverse conditions.

This program puts teens behind the wheel to learn skills that will be used for a lifetime. This includes techniques teens need to be safe and responsible drivers on our community’s streets, including:

  • Driving Basics, Defensive Driving Behavior

  • Skid Control

  • Emergency Braking

  • Accident Avoidance

  • Car Finance 2.0 (Presented by Ally)

the facts

More teens die in motor vehicle crashes than from any other cause of death.

ABOUT 2,500 PER YEAR

When my mom signed me up, I didn’t want to go because I thought it was going to be another classroom experience. After attending the event, I was so happy that I went because it was a great experience, and way better than I expected. I would recommend to all my friends. Thank you for offering this wonderful experience to teens.

Car crashes are the leading cause of death for teens age 16-19.

40% | High school students reported that they texted or emailed from behind the wheel.

1in5 | 16-year-old drivers have an accident within their first year of driving.

Very professional and first class. The hands on instruction was in valuable. Both my son and his friend thought it was amazing and we have already told a half dozen of their friends to sign up. Can’t say enough great things! Thank you!

AWARENESS BEHIND THE WHEEL

The program will provide teens with hands on skills to prevent injuries and save lives.

My son got a lot out of the program. I’m so glad we took advantage of this opportunity. As a mom I feel a little less nervous about him being on the road. Thank you!

The instructors were really nice and down to earth. They explained things in a way I could relate to.

“They come away with more confidence and more awareness. When they have that panic situation on the road, it’s going to help them. We’re putting them in awkward situations.”
— Robbie Buhl, Founder
