Cole Carter

Instructor

While having over 20 years of experience in the racing and automotive industry, it can easily be said that Cole Carter was born into the profession. A third-generation racecar driver, Cole comes from a wealth of knowledge in the sport and the automotive industry as a professional driver. After amassing 5 championship titles and over 100 wins in quarter midget racing (QMA), Carter set his sights on the highly competitive USAC National Midget, Sprint Car, and Silver Crown Series. His success in these divisions led him to a drive in the IRL Firestone Indy Lights Freedom 100 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2005 where he qualified 3rd. To date, Carter has amassed 27 wins and 64 Top Five finishes in professional open-wheel racing.

Cole has spent the last 15 years in various capacities within the industry as a professional driver, personal driving coach, spotter, driving instructor, and product specialist. Carter’s instructing background has included high-performance driving, teen safe driving programs, dealer training, and consumer events with a multitude of different automotive manufacturers at racetracks and venues all across the country. Having earned a BS in Marketing and Distribution Management from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 2005, Cole also works as a spotter and driver coach at Andretti Autosport and continues to race whatever and whenever he can.
